Naberius

(24) Naberius.- The Twenty-fourth Spirit is Naberius. She is a most valiant Marquess, and showeth in the form of a Black Crane, fluttering about the Circle, and when she speaketh it is with a hoarse voice. She maketh men cunning in all Arts and Sciences, but especially in the Art of Rhetoric. She restoreth lost Dignities and Honours. She governeth 19 Legions of Spirits.

The painting began as a pastel study of Lucien Levy-Dhurmer’s painting “Medusa” and was finished in the Procreate app on the iPad Pro.
