A Daughter of Salem

This was the first piece in the series. At the time I had been struggling to figure out my method and what I wanted to focus on. I had done some esoteric female portraits prior to this, but it wasn’t util this one that I figured out a mixed media approach that I really loved, and realized that witches would be the perfect theme for similar paintings in the future.

The painting is 8″ x 10″, mixed media on paper mounted on masonite.
